The FE Holden was the first major model change after the introduction of the Holden to Australia. It was first built in July 1956 and carried through to the FC Holden in May 1958, which was eventually superseded in January 1960. These two models saw the introduction of the station sedan (wagon) and the demise of the business sedan (taxi).
